Earth Trustees are people who recognize and respond to the stewardship responsibilities of living on Earth. Earth Trustees care for the Earth and its plant and animal life, because they have a deep respect for all living things and know that life itself is a marvelous and wondrous gift. They walk in ways of peace and truth, bringing blessings to their communities.

We recognize here the activities and caring lifestyle of Earth Trustees. Few receive recognition beyond their immediate locales. We intend here to encourage all Earth Trustees by presenting stories of a few.

From a mother in New Jersey --

From 1989-1991, while a student at the local community college, I was a founding member of Students for Ecological Action. Notable activities included a canoe trip/water & shore clean-up as well as a forest hike/clean-up & tire removal.

I am encouraging my children, 1 and 3, to enjoy and respect nature, as well as enlighten them on the harmful effects of littering and dumping on our planet. I am also teaching about recycling and waste products.

My children will have earth-friendly values.
